REGINA — Regina families in need have access to 89 newly renovated affordable housing.
Allocation of $12.5 million from the governments of Canada and Saskatchewan were used to rejuvenate the social housing units.
Completed in the renovation projects to are two- and three-bedroom social housing units. Originally built in 1958, the units received renovations including reconfiguration of space, new kitchens, bathrooms, furnaces and appliances. Funding was provided through the National Housing Strategy (NHS) and the Canada Community Housing Initiative (CCHI).
