One sent to hospital after robbery in PA

Police believe two suspects involved, looking for information from public.

PRINCE ALBERT – Police are investigating an attempted robbery and shooting that sent one person to hospital.

Around 9 p.m. on Sept. 8, police were called to the 400 block of 13th Street West for a report of a robbery with weapons involved.

"The victim was approached by two unknown males and was forced to hand over property," said PAPS in a media release. "One male used what is believed to be a small calibre firearm to shoot the victim."

The suspects left the scene, one man on foot while the other was riding a bike. The victim was taken to Victoria Hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

Police were not able to get a description of the two suspects, but are looking to the public for any information that might help the investigation. Anyone with a tip can call the PAPS at (306) 953-4222 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
