Moose Jaw police lay more charges against man accused of violent home invasion

Officers have further charged Joshua Adams with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, failure to comply with a release order and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

MOOSEJAWTODAY.COM — Moose Jaw police have charged Joshua Bradley Adams with more offences related to a home invasion on Sept. 13 that left the homeowner with serious injuries and Adams and accomplice arrested. 

Officers have further charged Adams with possession of fentanyl, possession of cocaine, failure to comply with a release order and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.

These additional charges are in relation to a home invasion that took place on Sept. 13, where Adams and Perreault attacked an individual who was known to them with a knife and shotgun. 

On Sept. 14, while police were executing a search warrant in relation to the offence, investigators discovered and seized a large quantity of fentanyl and cocaine at Adams’ residence, which led to these additional charges. 

Adams remains in police custody and will make his next appearance in Moose Jaw Provincial Court on Oct. 4 for a bail hearing.
