Update: Herd of 17 missing horses located

LESTOCK — Update Aug. 4: A herd of 17 horses missing since June has been located, according to an advisory from Livestock Services Saskatchewan issued over the Crime Watch Advisory Network.

An alert issued Wednesday said 17 horses have been missing from a pasture just north of Lestock since the middle of June. The horses are not branded and have been identified as being brown and white. The herd consists of mainly mares and geldings.
