REGINA — The Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority of Saskatchewan (FCAA) warns investors of the online entity GIS Capital.
"Saskatchewan residents should be cautious when considering an investment product," Securities Division with the Financial and Consumer Affairs Authority Executive Director Dean Murrison said. "The easiest step to protect yourself is to verify an investment seller is registered through the Canadian Securities Administrators' database at ."
This entity claims to offer Saskatchewan residents an opportunity to invest in cryptocurrency, stocks, commodities, and forex through the online websites https // gis-capital co, https // g-ctrade, and https // giscapital ltd. These URLs have been manually altered so as not to be interactive.
GIS Capital is not registered to trade or sell securities or derivatives in Saskatchewan. The FCAA cautions investors and consumers not to send money to companies that are not registered in Saskatchewan, as they may not be legitimate businesses.
