BIG RIVER – Update: On Nov. 3, Big River RCMP located and arrested Elvis Dreaver at a residence in Big River.
As a result of continued investigation, Dreaver is also charged with one count, of assault and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Original post Oct. 31: Police are searching for a man in connection to an assault at a home in Big River.
Elvis Dreaver, 35, is accused of assaulting a man and setting a fire inside a home on Big River. No serious injuries were reported. Big River RCMP say the incident happened Oct. 10.
Dreaver is charged with arson, mischief under $5,000, assault with a weapon.
Dreaver is also wanted on a charge of being unlawfully at large for violating conditions of a temporary absence/reintegration leave from a correctional facility.
He is about 5-foot-10 and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes.
Dreaver may be in the Big River area, but this can’t be confirmed.
