Tyrell Koby Mosquito is back in Saskatoon Provincial Court on March 27.

SASKATOON – The appearance of 24-year-old Tyrell Koby Mosquito, who faces a murder charge, was waived in Saskatoon Provincial Court March 5 and adjourned to March 27.

Police didn’t release the victim’s name but court documents obtained by Â鶹´«Ã½AV.ca show that it was 35-year-old Jason Stuart.

Saskatoon Police Service (SPS) say that they were called to the 200 block of 20 Street West around 1:51 p.m. on Feb. 19 for a report that a man had been stabbed. Stuart was taken to hospital where he died.

Mosquito fled the scene but was arrested the next day, say SPS. He was also charged with breach of probation for failing to comply with conditions of not possessing any weapons.

He remains in custody at the correctional centre.
