SASKATOON – Two people got bail and charges were dropped against a third person accused of robbing, unlawfully confining, and assaulting a man in Saskatoon July 27.
Charges against Stacey Rayanne Crookeedneck were stayed Aug. 3 in Saskatoon Provincial Court. Her co-accused Michelle Codi Fiddler and Nathan Philipazar Mercredi are back in court Aug. 15 to enter an election. Fiddler and Mercredi were released from custody following a show cause hearing July 31.
Police say that a 42-year-old man was at a business in the 100 block of 33rd Street West when a woman approached him at about 11 p.m. on July 26 and asked for a ride. He drove her to the area of 36 Street West where he was assaulted and robbed by a group of people. He was then taken to an address in the 1500 block of Avenue F North and unlawfully confined.
The man went to a business in the 1400 block of Idylwyld Drive North and asked staff for help and police were called at about 2:45 a.m. on July 27.
