SASKATOON – A 15-year-old Saskatoon girl has been charged with assault with a weapon after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed late Friday morning.
At about 11:15 a.m. on Oct. 13, Saskatoon police were called to the 300 block of 23rd Street East for a report of a stabbing. When they arrived the found the woman suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound. The teen suspect was seen a short distance away discarding a knife. She was arrested without incident.
The suspect and victim are believed to be known to one another.
