Suspect arrested in RCMP drug raid headed to trial

The RCMP gang unit seized methamphetamine and mushrooms after executing search warrants in Wilkie and in the 1600 block of 105 Street of North Battleford.

NORTH BATTLEFORD – A 33-year-old man arrested by the North Battleford RCMP Gang Task Force is headed to trial in December.

Benjamin Lennie of North Battleford was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 after the gang unit executed search warrants in Wilkie and in the 1600 block of 105 Street, North Battleford during a drug investigation. Police located and seized 109 grams of methamphetamine, Psilocybin (mushrooms), Canadian currency and other evidence of drug trafficking. 

The warrants were executed with the assistance of the North Battleford Municipal and Provincial General Investigation Sections, as well as the Battlefords and Wilkie Detachments.
