WHITEWOOD – While unconventional, a section of Highway 9 near Â鶹´«Ã½AV Avenue in Whitewood was used as a landing zone.
Just before 1 a.m. on July 22, the Whitewood Fire Department was dispatched to assist EMS in transporting a patient.
The patient was bound for Regina, being airlifted by STARS after Whitewood EMS brought them to the site set up by Whitewood Fire.
Fire units were back in service by 2:15 a.m.
