SHAUNAVON – Police didn't catch the culprits red-handed, but their looking for tips if anyone did.
Sometime last night (from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.), vehicles and buildings in downtown Shaunavon were the victims of some unwanted paint alterations.
"Yellow and black spray paint were located on multiple vehicles in the 500 block of Third Street West and the 400 block of First Street West," said RCMP in a crime watch advisory.
Shaunavon RCMP also discovered a garbage dumpster near the Kinsmen Hall had been hit, and another vehicle near Fourth Avenue and Center Street.
"The Memorial Park ladies bathroom was vandalized as well as [a] maintenance shed with spray paint," RCMP said,
The Town of Shaunavon Public Works building on First Avenue was additionally targetted, complete with a signature bearing the initials "L+C".
"If any residents or businesses in the proximity of Memorial Park and the downton core have outside video survieance, they are encouraged to review it for potential evidence," RCMP said.
