DILLON – A six-year-old girl from Dillon has died after being struck by a vehicle.
RCMP say that at about 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 19, they got a report of an injured pedestrian in Dillon. The initial police investigation determined a vehicle struck a child, who was later pronounced deceased at the local clinic. The child has been identified as a six-year-old girl from Dillon. Her family has been notified and police say their thoughts are with them during this difficult time. Victim services have been made available to them.
RCMP say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. No charges have been laid. Dillon RCMP continues to investigate.
