CADILLAC — Update: Ponteix RCMP are reporting one fatality due to yesterday's collision on Highway 4.
The collision took place about eight kilometres south of Cadillac.
"The driver was pronounced deceased by EMS at the scene," RCMP said in a media release. "He has been identified as an 82-year-old male from Val Marie. His family has been notified."
The highway was closed during initial investigation, and has since re-opened.
"Ponteix RCMP continue to investigate with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision re-constructionist," said RCMP.
