Sentencing delayed: Courtlin Littlewolfe fires lawyer

LLOYDMINSTER – An Onion Lake man who had drug trafficking and weapons-related charges dropped against him in Saskatchewan and Alberta hasn’t been able to dodge charges of evading police.

Sentencing for Courtlin Littlewolfe didn’t proceed Wednesday afternoon in Lloydminster, Sask., Provincial Court after he fired his lawyer. He was to be sentenced on three charges, including failing to stop while being pursued by police, dangerous driving, and driving while prohibited.

Littlewolfe appeared by phone from the Saskatoon Correctional Centre telling the court he fired his lawyer and Judge Stephen Kritzer adjourned his matter until May 17 to give him time to get another lawyer.

In December 2022, all weapons-related charges were stayed against Littlewolfe in Lloydminster Sask., Provincial Court. In March 2022, all drug trafficking and weapons-related charges were stayed against him in  Lloydminster Alberta Provincial Court.
