Saskatoon police say woman's death not suspicious

At approximately 9 a.m., Oct. 27, patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at a home in the 100 block of 111th Street West.

SASKATOON – Update Oct. 30: Members of the Major Crime Section are no longer investigating a death that occurred last week. The death, which was first thought to be suspicious in nature, has now been determined non-suspicious. 

Further investigation will be conducted by the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.

Original story: Saskatoon police are investigating a suspicious death in Saskatoon Friday.

At approximately 9 a.m., Oct. 27, patrol officers responded to a report of a deceased person at a home in the 100 block of 111th Street West. They located a deceased female upon their arrival. At this time, the death is considered suspicious.

Investigators with the Saskatoon Police Service Major Crime and Forensic Identification Sections are currently investigating. No further information is available at this time.
