SASKATOON – A garage fire on a house Monday afternoon has caused about $15,000 in damage, says the Saskatoon Fire Department.
Firefighters were dispatched to the 100 Block of Palliser Court at about 2:29 p.m. on Oct. 30. Three fire engines, one rescue unit, one ladder truck and the Battalion Chief were dispatched.
The first arriving fire crews began extinguishing the fire preventing it from entering the living portion of the structure. All incoming fire crews provided tactical support. The occupants had evacuated safely and no persons or firefighters were injured.
A Fire Investigator attended and concluded the investigation, saying the cause is undetermined.
