REGINA – Some schools in Regina were placed in secure-the-building mode after a shooting this morning.
Police say the incident occurred just after 11 a.m. when they were called to a shooting in the 3300 block of Sixth Avenue.
"Early information stated the victim entered a nearby school," said RPS. "The victim is not physically injured."
The lock down measures at schools in the area of the shooting has since been lifted, but police say the investigation is still ongoing.
