Regina man stabbed and robbed in early-morning attack

Police asking anyone with information to come forward.

REGINA – Do you know about a robbery that happened early this morning? If so, the police would like to hear about it.

"The complainant had reported that he was attacked by a group of people on the 2900 block of 5th Avenue," said RPS in a media release. "The assailants stabbed him and stole his belongings."

Police were called to the 300 block of Robinson Street around 2 a.m. for a report of a knife-related weapons offence. They found the victim, who was then taken to hospital by EMS with non life-threatening injuries.

Suspect descriptions are scant, other than being a group of three men and a woman, all approximately in their 20s.

"Anyone who has information that would help police locate the suspects in this investigation is asked to contact the Regina Police Service at 306-777-6500 or Regina Crime Stoppers at  or 1-800-222-TIPS (8477)," RPS said.
