REGINA – Police have arrested and charged a Regina man in relation to a long-weekend homicide in the Glen Elm Trailer Court.
Joshua Christopher Shore, 29, has been charged with second degree murder and made an initial court appearance on May 23 in Provincial Court.
The charge stems from an incident where police were called to Glen Elm just before 1 p.m. on May 20 for a report of an injured person. EMS also arrived on scene, declaring T.J. Tanner (also known as Summer), 40, deceased.
"Investigators from the RPS Major Crimes Unit and the Forensic Identification Unit attended to the scene to continue the investigation, in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service," said RPS in a media release. "Further investigation into the circumstances of the death determined it to be a homicide."
Tanner's death marks the third homicide in Regina in 2023, and the investigation is ongoing.
