BROADVIEW – Police are calling the recent discovery of two bodies in a Broadview home a case of murder/suicide.
RCMP released an update into the matter first reported last week. On Aug. 17, Broadview RCMP issued a release noting an increased police presence in town, assuring residents that no threats existed.
"Continued investigation by Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes has determined this incident was a homicide-suicide that was domestic in nature," said RCMP in a media release this afternoon. "The female was the homicide victim. Our thoughts are with all loved ones affected."
There are no additional suspects in this case, and RCMP say no charges will be laid. They are also not anticipating further updates related to this investigation.
