LLOYDMINSTER – The Meadow Lake RCMP Crime Reduction Team arrested a violent offender and street gang member who was inadvertently released from court in Lloydminster, Sask., earlier this month.
Jesse Eric Dillon, 32, was arrested around 1:50 p.m. on Big Island Lake Cree Nation on May 28.
Dillon was brought before a justice of the peace and remanded into custody. He is to appear at the Meadow Lake Provincial court on May 30.
According to court documents, the Crown prosecutor in Lloydminster, Sask., Provincial Court had agreed to his release on May 16.
Dillon is a known high-ranking street gang member of the Westside Outlawz.
