PELICAN NARROWS – Police are investigating a targeted shooting in Pelican Narrows on Nov. 29.
At about 6:30 a.m., Pelican Narrows RCMP received a report of a shooting in Pelican Narrows. When officers responded they found an injured man, who was transported to hospital with injuries described as serious in nature.
The police investigation determined several individuals approached a home and shot the firearm, injuring the victim.
Pelican Narrows RCMP continue to investigate and are working to locate and arrest the suspects. They say more information will be provided when available and if there is an imminent increased risk to public safety is identified, they will inform the public.
Saskatchewan RCMP’s Forensic Identification Services and General Investigation Section are assisting with this investigation.
