NORTH BATTLEFORD – Landon Gallie, now 36, was sentenced Friday in North Battleford Provincial Court to 711 days in jail. He was also ordered to provide his DNA to police and given a lifetime ban on owning firearms.
Gallie was arrested by the Battlefords RCMP Gang Task Force, with assistance from Saskatchewan RCMP Critical Incident Response Team, after they executed a search warrant at a home in the 900 block of 110 Street on April 14, 2022. Police seized three firearms in the raid.
Gallie was charged with three counts each of possession of a firearm with unauthorized, possession of a firearm contrary to an order, and unsafe storage of a firearm. He was also charged with possession of a restricted firearm with ammunition and driving while prohibited.
