Three moose were unlawfully shot and taken on private land about eight kilometres south of Peesane. Sgt. Jeremy Johnson from Conservation Officer Service in Hudson Bay said they believe the moose were shot between the evening of Nov. 1 and early morning on Nov. 2.

The three moose were gutted and loaded at this location and it’s believed that more than one vehicle was involved. Officers collected evidence from the scene but require the public's help to identify the individuals responsible.
