Missing Saulteaux First Nation girl, 15, found deceased

Madison Yew was last seen on Saulteaux First Nation at about 7 p.m. on Aug. 5.

SAULTEAUX FIRST NATION – Update Aug. 14 12:43 p.m.: Madison Yew has been located deceased. Her family has been notified and Victim Services has been engaged to provide support. The Saskatchewan Coroners Service also attended the scene and an autopsy has been ordered.  

Battlefords RCMP would like to thank the media and local search and rescue teams for their assistance in this investigation.

Original story: Battlefords RCMP is seeking the public's help locating 15-year-old Madison Yew who was last seen on Saulteaux First Nation at about 7 p.m. on Aug. 5.

Police and Yew’s family are concerned for her well-being. Yew is 5-foot-4 and weighs approximately 130 pounds. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She last wearing a grey/black long sleeve shirt and grey jogging pants.

Madison Yew has connections to Edmonton, Meadow Lake and Saskatoon but her current whereabouts are unknown.
