Margo man awaits verdict following trial for high school threat

No danger was posed to students or staff.

YORKTON — A three-day trial has concluded for one of two men accused of making an online threat to the Yorkton Regional High School.

In March of last year, there was a report of a threat to the school, but police determined there was no danger posed to students or staff.

Twenty-two-year-old Cole Swain of Margo will return to court on May 24.

His co-accused, 25-year-old Austin Ross of Yorkton, previously admitted his guilt, and is scheduled to be sentenced on May 13.
