SASKATOON – A 26-year-old man is recovering in hospital following a stabbing early Sunday morning.
At approximately 12:45 a.m., Sept. 24, Saskatoon police were called to a business in the 1500 block of 8th Street East. When they arrived they found an injured man. He told police that he had approached a group of people in the alley of the 1600 block of Main Street. A man and a woman demanded cigarettes and then began stabbing him. He was able to walk to the business for assistance.
The male suspect is described as 5-foot-10 with shoulder-length black hair and a beard. He was wearing black pants, a black shirt and a blue vest.
The female suspect is described as 5-foot-8 with long straight black hair. She was holding a yellow object at the time of the attack. Police didn’t elaborate on what the object was.
