Maidstone RCMP are on the scene of a multi-semi collision on Highway 16’s eastbound lanes at the junction with Highway 21.
No serious injuries have been reported to police but it’s expected the highway will be closed for several hours as clean-up of the roadway continues.
Detours are in place but motorists should expect delays in the area. Please follow the instructions of emergency personnel on scene.
Officers ask that motorists drive with caution as there are emergency personnel working in the area and fog is affecting visibility.
