Icy roads: Saskatoon police respond to 19 collisions in 3 hours

Police request motorists use caution and reduce speeds on Saskatoon streets.

Update: Oct. 24, 9:34 a.m. Saskatoon Police have responded to 19 collisions between approximately 6 and 9 a.m, none of which involved serious injuries.

Saskatoon Police continue to remind motorists to adjust their driving habits to the winter road conditions.

Police are currently responding to a three vehicle collision that included a school bus at Forrester Road and Pendygrasse Road. There were youth on the bus at the time of the collision, however no injuries have been reported.

Police are responding to a number of collisions as a result of the icy road conditions.

Drivers are asked to slow down, allow more space between themselves and the vehicle in front of them, and to allow more time to reach their destinations.
