RM OF BATTLE RIVER —Battleford Fire Chief Larry Gabruch has issued a fire ban for the RM of Battle River No. 438.
Deputy Fire Chief Geoff Thompson said Thursday due to the hot, dry weather, the chief has issued a ban for the RM. They are not as alarmed about conditions within the town itself, he said.
Most of the RM's around the Battlefords, especially to the east, are under either a fire ban or a restriction.
