LLOYDMINSTER, Alberta – A 45-year-old Lashburn, Sask., man pleaded not guilty Tuesday in Lloydminster Alberta Court of Justice to a charge of committing an indecent act in the Lloydminster, Alta., swimming pool. Sir Brent Adair Habetler is due back in court June 6 to set a trial date.
According to Alberta court records, on March 13 Habetler willfully committed an indecent act in a public place in the presence of one or more persons with intent to insult or offend a person. He was additionally charged with willfully obstructing, interrupting or interfering with the lawful use, enjoyment or operation of property, the community swimming pool, thereby committing mischief. Last month charges of mischief, failing to comply with a release order and possession of property under $5,000 were withdrawn by the Crown.
Lloydminster, Alta., RCMP believe there may be additional victims and encourage those individuals to come forward. In March, Sask.
