BATTLEFORDS – Two people were taken to hospital with minor injuries after a fight between six people outside a business on Highway 16 just outside of North Battleford that resulted in shots being fired.
Battlefords RCMP say they got a report at about 5:12 a.m. on Oct. 16 about the altercation. Officers responded immediately and their investigation determined that there was a confrontation between six adults, including five men and one woman and a firearm was discharged.
Police say that the individuals have been released from custody and Battlefords RCMP continue to investigate, in collaboration with Saskatchewan Crown Prosecution. No charges have been laid at this time.
