CHOICELAND — After calling for the public’s help in locating a missing man, that 85-year-old man has been found deceased.
Smeaton RCMP requested public assistance in locating Donald Sussums of the Choiceland area at 12:35 p.m. Sunday, May 19. His vehicle had been found at approximately 1 p.m. Saturday on a quad trail 14 kilometres north of Choiceland.
At approximately 8 p.m., Donald Sussums was located deceased. His family has been notified and RCMP say their thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
After initial investigation, Smeaton RCMP believes his death to be non-suspicious in nature. Smeaton RCMP thanks the emergency responders and volunteer searchers for their assistance.
