A medical specialty clinic located in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario is looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work with a local endocrinologist and her team, the team is providing administrative services remotely. We pride ourselves on providing focused and specialized care to our patients.
The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, interest in learning about endocrine care.
*Duties*
• Obtain health and medication histories from patients.
• Providing information about clinic services.
• Retrieve patient vitals
• Assist with medication administration (subcutaneous and intramuscular) as well as injection teaching sessions for patients
• Assist with preparation of medical documents and insurance forms.
• Follow up with patients’ questions via email or phone.
• Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative measures.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent decision-making capabilities.
• Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
Job Type: Full-time, in person.
Pay: $25.00-$30.00.
Schedule:
• Day Shift.
• Monday-Friday.
• No Weekends.
• 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
