Northchannel Heating & Air Conditioning Inc is a locally owned and operated heating and air conditioning company near Desbarats, Ont.
Under the general direction of the President of Northchannel Heating & Air Conditioning Inc, the Office Administrator is responsible for the managing the financial assets of NCHVAC by providing financial and budget advise, support to employees in Human Resources.
The combined role involves handling multiple responsibilities including office management, H/R, payroll and accounting functions. Professionalism, exceptional collaboration skills, enthusiasm, self-drive and ability to meet goals is paramount.
Job requirements:
Accounting
- Integral to maintaining accurate financial reports
- Maintain & oversee financial & accounting operations
- Analyzing financial data & preparing financial statements each month
- Ensure compliance with regulations
- Data input A/P and GL
- Prepare and monitor monthly budget forecast
- Prepare year end working papers
- Resolve accounting & Procedural issues
- HR/Payroll
- Interview employees, hiring practices
- Review timesheets, complete bi-weekly payroll
- Complete gl entries, ensure proper payment for employees & CRA
- Organize & oversee training development for employees
- Prepare employee performance evaluation
- Job Costing
- set up costing for various jobs, monitor and evaluate
- Education/Experience:
- Completion of a post-secondary accounting or business administration
- Minimum of 8 years experience in accounting, payroll and human resources
- Core skills in accounting will be essential for accuracy
- Working knowledge of payroll regulations under the ESA and other applicable statutes
- Computer/social media literacy with excellent skills in Microsoft office-word, excel
