The Town of Collingwood is excited to announce the opening of applications for its two community grant programs, aimed at supporting initiatives that will benefit the community in 2025. Community groups and individuals are encouraged to apply, with the grant application period open from December 1, 2024, to February 7, 2025.

Collingwood is fortunate to have incredible individuals and groups doing amazing things in our community. The impact of this work supports the physical and social well-being of our community. To support this work, the Town of Collingwood offers two unique grant programs:

  1. Council Community Grants (CCG)
  2. Community Recreation and Culture Grants (CRCG)

Both programs include financial grants and in-kind grants, such as the provision of municipal resources like facilities. However, there are unique differences between the two programs, and applicants can only apply to one. It is important for applicants to determine which program best suits their organization and the project they are delivering.

Prospective applicants are encouraged to where they will find:

  • Information on each grant program, including applicant and grant criteria
  • Application guidelines or policy
  • Application forms

The Council Community Grant (CCG) program is made possible through proceeds raised by the Mayor’s Annual Golf Tournament and is overseen by the Finance Department. The Community Recreation and Culture Grant (CRCG) aligns with the Parks, Recreation and Culture Master Plan and is overseen by the Parks, Recreation and Culture Department.

All grant submissions must be received by February 7, 2025, at 12:00 pm EST
