YORKTON – Priya Timiri has been named the new General Manager of Community Futures Ventures, effective Sept. 1, 2024 and announced in a media release Nov. 14.
The announcement was made by the board and staff of the organization, expressing their confidence in her leadership.
Timiri, who moved to Yorkton from India in January 2020, quickly became an integral part of the community. She brings extensive experience in the financial and banking sectors, which she has applied since joining Community Futures Ventures in June 2020 as a Business Analyst.
In her role as Business Analyst, Timiri has provided vital support to entrepreneurs, assisting them in preparing business plans, supplying necessary resources for business setup, and guiding them through the loan process.
“We are delighted to have Priya take on the role of General Manager,” said Kendra Busch, Chairperson of Community Futures Ventures.
“Her long tenure with us as a business analyst has been invaluable, and under her leadership, the Ventures team will continue to excel in supporting small businesses and communities in the east central region," added Busch.
