YORKTON – A circle jam was held at the New Horizon's Seniors Citizens Centre the afternoon of April 20.
The jam featured 18 musicians alternating turns and entertaining show-goers.
"This is the second time we're doing it and it seems to be really popular," told Jean Remezoff, organizer with the New Horizons, in an interview with SASKTODAY.ca adding, "there was a request to have another one after we had the first one in January."
The event was well received according to Remezoff.
"It's full. We've got a good attendance — it's over 100 people plus the musicians," said Remezoff.
"We'll probably have another one in the fall," said Remezoff.
And the circle jam isn't the only musical performance New Horizons is having. Coming up June 30 is fiddler Zenon Horobec, accompanied by musicians Lorne Derkatch and Orville Drobot.
"They were very well-received last year when we had them," said Remezoff.
