Man charged in fatal collision on The Key FN heading to trial

YORKTON - Another court appearance has been made by a Keeseekoose First Nation man charged in connection with a fatal vehicle/ pedestrian collision on The Key First Nation.

Kenward Strongquill, 62, was in Yorkton court on Sept. 23.

He was committed to stand trial in Yorkton Court of King’s Bench at a later date.

On Aug. 24, Kamsack RCMP received a report of a collision involving four pedestrians. A girl under the age of 12 was killed, while two other girls were seriously injured, and a man was only slightly hurt.
