YORKTON – A mix of trade, craft and baked goods brought M.C. Knoll School to life on March 29 as Fresh Finds raised money for a good cause.
Organized by Lee Isaacson, Fresh Finds hosted 45 vendors from across the region, including Melfort, Wadena, Foam Lake, Langenburg and Macnutt, among others. The event was organized to fund raise for the Dance Innovations Performance Troupe and their upcoming cruise in February 2026.
"It's for the dancers to do workshops on the cruise and then they also get to perform on the cruise as well," said Isaacson.
Proceeds from vendor participation, admission, raffle tickets and the canteen will help cover costumes, apparel and workshop fees for the troupe. Isaacson shared that planning for the cruise has been ongoing for 1.5 years.
"This has been a really good turnout," Isaacson said about this year's Fresh Finds. "This is the second one I've done. I did one last year for our trip that we went on to California. The vendors are just so good."
