YORKTON – The Carlyle Cardinals best the Standard Hill Lakers 5–3 August 13 for the Senior AA Tier 2 Provincial Championship.
The tournament, held in in Yorkton at Jubilee Diamonds, was a five team championship featuring the Yorkton Marlins, Standard Hill Lakers, Carlyle Cardinals, Saskatoon Rockies and the North Battleford Beavers.
The Marlins walked off the Rockies 8–7 in the 11th inning of their August 13 match up coming away from the tournament with two wins and two losses.
