Vendors ranged in age from 10 to 80 with the event expected to attract around 1500 people.

YORKTON – The 8th Annual Christmas Shopping Blitz at St. Mary's Cultural Centre drew a crowd on Nov. 16.

Organizer Brandice Derks noted the participation of 70 vendors.

"We have local vendors and vendors from as far as Regina who have heard about the great show," she said.

The event featured a variety of items for sale, including crafts, handmade goods, trades, and baking.

"Pretty much everything," said Derks, noting the specialty items like wood decor, door hanging wood pallets, sourdough bread products and western handmade crafts.

Vendors ranged in age from 10 to 80, with Derks stating that the event typically attracts around 1,500 people each year. The Christmas Blitz also included raffle prizes, with proceeds going to the Family Resource Centre.
