Barry married Sigrid Jane Isfeld of Elkhorn, MB, on December 18, 1993. On March 12, 1997, Barry and Sigrid were excited to welcome Zachary Jon to their family. In the spring of this year, Barry celebrated becoming an Engineer Licensee. It was a huge accomplishment and the entire family was overjoyed to celebrate along with him. On Thursday, August 8, 2013 Barry and his son Zach came to Winkler for the day. They spent the afternoon talking and touring around and had a wonderful visit. Just before supper, Barry, Zach and their dad and grandfather, Albert, went for a ride in Papa's prized '66 Mustang. Zach had so eagerly been waiting to drive Papa's car. On that drive, God decided to take them home in an instant.
