William "Bill" Toderan was born on June 17, 1936, in Shellmouth, MB. He was the youngest child of George and Elsie (nee Cheropita) Toderan. He was raised in the Inglis area. In 1958, he married Martha Onofrechuk. They were blessed with five children, four surviving. William held many jobs throughout his life, most notably the Sunset Drive-In and Capitol Theater in Kamsack, SK from 1974 - 1979 and then The Hitching Post in Yorkton, SK from 1979 - 1996, until his health started to fail. He fought a hard battle with cancer for four years. Bill passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre with his wife and daughter, Tenille at his side. William was predeceased by his parents, George and Elsie; his son, Devron; his brother, John; his sister, Dora as well as two sisters who died in infancy. Left to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, are his wife of 56 years, Martha; his children, Randy Toderan (Darcy), Debbie (Daryl) Kovach, Kim Rusnack (Rod) and Tenille (Kirk) Lafontaine; his grandchildren, Tara, Tyler, Shade, Jena, Jade, Jazmyn, Ethan, Elijah, Nevaeh and Everleigh and great-grandchildren, Kasey, Maddon and Taylin. William is also survived by his sisters, Lena, Carrie (Gordon) and Anne (Ed) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Prayer Services were held on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK. The Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, September 3, 2014, also from Christie's Funeral Chapel. Archpriest Orest Olekshy officiated both services, and the responses were led by the cantor, Deacon Ken Gaber. The Cross Bearer was Brian Prokopetz. Words of tribute and memory were shared by Bill's daughter, Tenille Lafontaine and his granddaughter, Jena Kovach. Bill's grandson, Shade Kovach also shared a special violin solo, "Amazing Grace". The Interment Service followed in the Yorkton Memorial Gardens, with Tyler Toderan, Shade Kovach, Ethan Rusnack, Dennis Dohie, Raymond Burak and Warren Toderan serving as the casket bearers.
