Scott Sundquist was born July 9, 1961 at Wynyard, SK to Donald Sunquist and Dawn (nee Peturson). He grew up and attended school at Wynyard until he, his mom and sister moved to Yorkton in 1977. Scott graduated from the Yorkton Regional High School in 1979. He started his working career in Yorkton at a variety of different jobs throughout his life; gas station attendant, skate and saw sharpening, maintenance and janitorial positions, painting and glass installation. In Calgary he worked as a shop foreman for a couple of years. Some of Scott's interests were family camping gatherings at Fishing Lake, classic cars and simply spending time with his family, friends and co-workers. Scott met Diane Buzinski and they became a couple. In March 1987 they both welcomed their baby boy, Travis Jordan. They enjoyed many good years together. Scott leaves to mourn his passing his son, Travis Buzinski (Jo Ann Pearce); mother, Dawn Peturson; brother, Murray (Val) Sundquist of Saskatoon and their family, Bobbi (Jason) Stevens and family, Rod Sundquist and Brandi (Simon) Riordon; sister, Sherry (Lance) Skene of Iracana, Alberta; cousins, Chad, Trent (Brandie) and Kim Peturson; Aunt Betty Prevost and family as well as many friends. Scott was predeceased by his father, Donald Sundquist, his uncle Aaron Peturson and all of his grandparents. A Private Celebration of Scott's life for family and friends took place on Saturday, August 30, 2015 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home, Yorkton, SK with Pastor Dave Taylor officiating.
