Arnie will be dearly missed by many. A funeral service in loving memory or Arnold Starger was held on Saturday April 9, 2016 at 2:00pm at Christ Lutheran Church in Rhein with Rev Karen Stepko officiating. Organist Loretta Herman led the congregation in the singing of the hymns: "Amazing Grace", "Bringing in the Sheaves", and "In the Sweet By and By". The internment followed in the Christ Lutheran cemetery with Pauline Schwabe as the urn bearer. Following the service all were welcomed for a lunch and visitation with the family in the Church basement. The lunch was prepared by the Christ Lutheran women. The Schwabe family would like to thank everyone for coming from near and far to put Arnie to rest.
