On Thursday, August 2, 2013 Jamie Josh Srochenski, James as he was known to friends, passed away suddenly at the age of 40 years. He was born on June 8, 1973. James will be lovingly remembered by his beautiful daughters, Ashley and Sabrina; his mother, Mary and father, Don Morrison; his brothers, Terry and Jason (Candace); many nieces and nephews as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. James was predeceased by his brother, Darcey in 2008. A Service to Celebrate James' life was held on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from the Chapel of Christie's Funeral Home in Yorkton, SK with Kathy Novak serving as the Funeral Celebrant. Words of tribute and eulogy were shared by James' friend, Marlin Marynick. Music was an important part of James' life and a number of taped music selections were shared in his memory, "Softly and Tenderly" by Alan Jackson, "Bonfire Heart" by James Blunt, "Take it to the Limit" by The Eagles, "I Want to Stroll Over Heaven With You" by Alan Jackson and "I'm No Stranger to the Rain" by Keith Whitley.
