Donna Marie Sparrowhawk. April 10, 1962- January 8, 2014. Age 51 years. Donna Marie was born on April 10, 1962 in Regina, SK., to George & Evelyn Kerr. She became the kid sister to four older brothers. Donna grew up in the Midale and Weyburn area, moving to Yorkton in her teenage years. She had moved to Esterhazy where she was employed by IMC (Mosaic), where she remained working for almost 18 years until her passing. Donna was blessed with 3 children, Taralynn (1982), Clint (1990), and Lauren (1993). Donna met the love of her life, Byron, in March, 2005. Then on March 17, 2008 they were married. They enjoyed their life together camping and travelling, Mexico being their favourite destination. Nights in the backyard around the fire listening to music and enjoying a glass of wine with friends and family, was another favourite pastime. Through the years as a mother, Donna enjoyed being a ball coach and hockey mom. But being a grandma is what brought her the greatest joy. Anyone that had the privilege in knowing Donna, saw an extremely giving person that was always trying to help others. It made her day if she could make someone smile or laugh. She had a sense of humor that was unlike any other, a vibrant spirit & a laugh that was contagious. Donna was 51 when she passed away on January 8, 2014, after a short battle with cancer. Left to cherish her memory are, her husband Byron Sparrow hawk of Esterhazy, her children Taralynn (Dave) Young of Martensville, Clint (Justine) Fuchs of Grayson, Lauren (Adam) Fuchs of Whitewood, her 5 grandchildren Derek, Cortnee, Alexia, Dominic, Cooper, her parents George & Evelyn Kerr of Yorkton, her brothers Allan (Jacelyn) Kerr of Regina, Gerry (Carren) Kerr of Estevan, Ron (Linda) Kerr of Yorkton, Don (Debbie) Kerr of Â鶹´«Ã½AVey, plus numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Donna's In-laws meant so much to her. David & Marilyn Sparrowhawk; sister Sharon (Frank) Salter; sister Mercy (Bryan) Ohirko; Brother in -law Dean (Reni) Sparrowhawk; sister, Edith (Ed) Lemieux; sister, Peggy Constantinoff; and sister, Jenny Sparrowhawk. Funeral Service took place at Our Lady of Victories Roman Catholic Church, Esterhazy, SK (United Church Service) Monday, January 13, 2014. Officiant was Rev. Faye Greer. Organist was Peggy Pedersen who led in the hymns "In The Garden" and "In the Bulb There is a Flower", Scripture readings were done by Brad & Brandon Kerr. The Interment followed at the Esterhazy Town Cemetery. Donations can be made to The Canadian Cancer Society. Arrangements have been entrusted to: Peter Carscadden Funeral Service Ltd.
