Sherry Rubletz, beloved wife of Chris Thorvaldson of Bredenbury, SK. passed away peacefully at home at the age of 46. Sherry was born at the Yorkton Union Hospital on October 10, 1967, a daughter of the late Mike and Nora Rubletz. She was raised on the family farm near Churchbridge where she attended Churchbridge High School and after completing her education she worked various jobs. Later in life Sherry met Chris and they continued their lives together in Bredenbury until her passing. She had many joys in life, she loved fishing, touring on the boat, camping, gardening, cooking, bird watching and visiting with family and friends. Sherry always enjoyed helping Chris in the shop which was always clean and organized. Aside from helping in the shop she enjoyed travelling with Chris to various jobs. Sherry was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Nora Rubletz and her step-son, Rodney (Sherrie) of Moose Jaw, SK. She leaves to mourn her passing and celebrate her life, her husband, Chris; two sons, Steven of Bredenbury, SK and Brandon of Saskatoon, SK; a daughter, Jackie of New Brunswick; a step-daughter, Amy and her husband, Corey of Humboldt, SK; two brothers, Brian and his wife, Darlene of Yorkton, SK and Terry and his wife, Theresa of Russell, MB; two sisters, Sandy and her husband, David Mitschke of Langenburg, SK and Barbara (Colin) of Saskatoon, SK as well as numerous nieces and nephews, many other relatives, and a host of good friends. Funeral Services were held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from the Bredenbury Community Hall in Bredenbury, SK. with Mr. Fred Nicholson officiating. The organist, Ruth Datema and soloist, Linda Datema shared two selections, "For Those Tears I Died" and "In the Quiet Curve of Evening". Family friend, Cindy Brodas shared words of tribute and eulogy. Sherry's sons, Steven Noble and Brandon Simpson served as the urn bearers.
